The Live Music Venues section lists Exeter's unique collection of intimate performance spaces where you can get up close to some very big names, and also catch new and upcoming artists for the first time.

In the heart of the city, the historic and beautiful Exeter Cathedral provides a spectacularly atmospheric setting for concerts, and the University of Exeter's Great Hall is also a wonderful location for classical and contemporary music concerts and events throughout the year.

The Exeter Corn Exchange and Exeter Phoenix are contemporary arts venues, hosting a varied programme of entertainment and arts events including live music, ballet, comedy and dances.

For inspiring theatre, the Exeter Northcott is a professional theatre-producing arts venue, and the Exeter Barnfield Theatre is Exeter's independent community theatre with jazz, folk, rock, classical and live music as well as panto, drama and dance.

The New Theatre provides a cosy intimate space for innovative performance, and Theatre Alibi create exiting and imaginative work for audiences of all ages, performing at venues throughout the city as well as touring nationally.

Dance in Devon is the County's dance development agency celebrates, enhances and encourages dance and dancers throughout the County, increasing opportunities for as many people as possible to take part in, watch or create dance.
