The South West has a wonderful productive climate and people who are passionate about producing local seasonal food. The weekly Farmers Market in the West Quarter, has fresh local produce and offers friendly service from knowledgeable producers. Held every Thursday on the junction of Fore Street/South Street in the city centre for over 30 producers between 9am-2pm.

A daily street market with fresh produce is held in Sidwell Street, and there is a monthly Farmers Market at Exeter University, held on the first Friday of the month in term time, open to all.
